WHAT DOES A PHYSICAL THERAPY AIDE AND ADMINISTRATION SPECIALIST DO?

A physical therapy aide and administration assistant works alongside and under the direction of a physical therapist. Due to the laws and regulations in different states, the physical therapy aide’s tasks may vary. However, they typically are responsible for keeping the treatment area clean and organized, scheduling next sessions, completing insurance forms, and helping patients move from or to the treatment area.

Our Physical Therapy Aide and Administration Specialist program also ensures that students are able to perform a variety of administrative tasks.
