WHAT IS THE CYBER SECURITY TRAINING PROGRAM AND WHAT CAN YOU ACCOMPLISH AS A STUDENT?

The Cybersecurity Training Program is an online curriculum that consists of 10 courses over the span of 33 weeks. During this time, students will gain the skills that are essential to launching their career in this highly in-demand field. Developed by industry experts, the Cybersecurity Training Program covers a wide range of information, including installing secured systems, identifying network vulnerabilities, and implementing recovery efforts. 

Cybersecurity specialists are proficient in cyber industry best practices, standards and trends to secure and protect network vulnerabilities. They maintain the security of networks and data for companies and organizations.

Through a combination of expert instruction and hands-on experience, students who complete the program will be prepared to uncover an organization’s technological weaknesses, fortify networks with the latest software defense tools, use network packet analyzers to spot attackers, and keep systems as safe as possible.

CYBER SECURITY JOB POSSIBILITIES

As cyber threats and attacks continue to grow each year, the employment market for skilled cybersecurity professionals is growing much faster than average. In fact, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics sees strong continued growth in the cybersecurity field and predicts the number of information security analyst jobs will increase by about 33% through 2030 with an estimated 16,300 new jobs opening up in the field each year on average over that period. The median salary for information security analysts in 2020 was $103,590, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics.
